If you're having difficulty accessing mySVU, please follow these steps:

Access Your Student Email:
After your student account is created, you'll receive an email with a link to set up your account. The first step is to reset your password using this link:https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/Default.aspx
You must first access your student email since it's linked to your login credentials for mySVU. You won’t be able to log into mySVU until you've accessed your student email account.

Access mySVU:
Once you can access your student email, you should be able to log into your mySVU student portal. MySVU will automatically attempt to use the login credentials from the account you're currently logged into on your browser.

Important: If you're logged into your browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Edge) with an email other than your @svu.edu email, this can cause a login error. To avoid this:
  • Create a separate browser user/profile with your @svu.edu email, or
  • Open mySVU in a private/incognito window.
