This article explains the process to migrate to J1 on windows desktop computers. Completing these steps will give you access to Jenzabar and  Infomaker on Windows computers.

1) To start this process you need to open the control panel. Open your windows menu from the left side of the taskbar at the bottom of your screen. In this menu you will see an option to search, indicated by a magnifying glass symbol. Type in "Control Panel" and you will be able to open up the app from the search results.

2) When you open the Control panel, the automatic view is organized by category. To see each individual setting, you want to change your view to show the individual icons. (Whether you use large icons or small icons does not matter. Use what you are comfortable with.)

3) Now that you can see each individual setting, select "RemoteApp and Desktop Connections"

4) The page that follows will mostly be empty because you haven't set up any connections yet. Select "Access RemoteApp and desktops" on the left.

5) The connection URL you need to use is https://j1.svu.edu/rdweb/feed/webfeed.aspx

For convenience, you can copy and paste the URL from this article into the text box.

6) You will see an indication that says "ready to set up the connection." Select "Next".

7) You will be asked to sign in. Please use your svu.edu credentials. If you get the notification "Your credentials did not work" try changing your password by following the instructions in this article. https://svu.freshservice.com/support/solutions/articles/8000061108
